What To Know About Multi-State Nursing Licenses
Multi-state nursing licenses are also referred to compact state licenses. They essentially are nursing licenses that allow you to practice across state lines. But how does that work? Multi-state or compact state nursing licenses are valid based on the states that partake in The Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC). Ultimately, these partaking states allow nurses with one license to practice in other partaking states. Currently, there are over twenty states that partake in the NLC.
