Our housing team is readily available to find you a home where you will feel safe and comfortable during your upcoming travel nurse assignment. A personal housing account executive will ensure your housing preferences are met and you are happy before moving. We can also offer fully furnished housing to meet your needs. 

Collect Your Housing Stipend

Some travelers would like to find their next home on their own. Many use online resources like; Airbnb, FurnishedFinder.com and Apartments.com to help solidify their search. Depending on the length of a contract, some travelers even stay in a hotel to accommodate their needs!

 

If you already have your living situation figured out; you’re living with a friend, or you have decided to take an RV across country, you will receive a housing stipend. It's all up to you!

How Travel Nurse Stipend Works

A housing stipend is determined by the state and city in which you are taking an assignment among other details pertaining to your contract with the healthcare facility. For more detailed information about housing stipends, please discuss with your recruiter.

Yes, you will be provided with either a housing subsidy or you can elect for private, furnished company provided housing on every assignment no matter where you travel. Our team of territory experts will work diligently to find you safe, clean, quality accommodations within a reasonable commute time of your facility. How much do traveling nurses get for housing?

Housing stipends vary based on the market in the location of your assignment and typically align with the cost of a one bedroom apartment short term lease. Due note, there are additional aspects that can impact the housing budget, such as; seasonality and other assignment factors.

Where do travel nurses find housing?

Travel nurses use online resources like Furnishedfinder.com, Airbnb.com, Apartments.com and other websites to search for housing accommodations. If you choose the housing stipend, and decide later that you would rather have our housing executives help you, we will take over the house or apartment hunting on your behalf.
